Dear Friends,

Beth and Roger Miller are pleased to announce that the Waterloo 7 Studio & Gallery will be hosting the next Art Exchange.  The goal is to gather 100 pieces of original art work for our first large venue art exchange!

For those of you who have not yet attended, it works like this; bring an original piece of artwork of your own creation following the theme “Flower(s)”.   (YES, THIS THEME IS FLOWERS- and we fully expect artists to embrace this theme with enthusiasm and creativity, with recognition for the most unique work!)  Each piece of art should be covered or wrapped in some way, so that whomever is choosing it cannot tell what it is.  Each artist who brings work will get the opportunity to choose a covered piece of original artwork to unwrap in front of the group and take home.  New artists are encouraged to participate.  However, if you would prefer to just experience the event, please come and meet some of Cleveland’s top artists, movie makers, special effects artists, photographers and writers.

This gathering is open, so bring friends and artwork.

Bring your own beverages and an appetizer, or munchie of some sort.  The gathering will begin at 7pm with art exchanged about 9pm.  The Waterloo 7 Studio & Gallery is located at 16006 Waterloo Rd., Cleveland, OH.  Special Thanks to Jerry Schmidt, artist and owner of the Waterloo 7; one of Cleveland’s top galleries. (see www.schmidtsculpture.com)

We would like artists to consider bringing an additional piece of original art that will be auctioned later with proceeds donated to The Providence House, a non profit crisis nursery.

Feel free to forward this to other artists, we want the news of this event to be 100% electronic, so facebook, myspace or twitter the news!  Please respond to artexchange_miller@yahoo.com and you will receive a reply with the number of your artwork - remember our goal is 100 original pieces of artwork!

Looking forward to seeing you on August first.  Life imitates art!

Sincerely,
Beth & Roger Miller
